Tucson Police Officer Killed in On-Duty Car Crash

Tucson Police Officer Adam R. Buckner died in a car crash while responding to a call for service. The collision occurred when a vehicle failed to yield at an intersection, sending Buckner's patrol car into a traffic signal pole. Buckner, 31, had his emergency lights and siren activated at the time of the crash. The other driver sustained minor injuries, and there were no signs of impairment.
