"Orlando Police Share Video of Derek Diaz Shooting"

The Orlando Police Department has released bodycam footage of the July 3 shooting of Derek Diaz, a 26-year-old man suspected of drug activity. Diaz was shot by an officer after allegedly making a movement towards his right side, possibly reaching for a gun. He later died at the hospital. The release of the footage comes after Diaz's family demanded transparency from the police department. The officer involved is on administrative leave, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is conducting an investigation.
