Florida Police Officer Fired and Charged for Resisting Law Enforcement and Fleeing Traffic Stop

An Orange County sheriff's deputy, Juan Morales-Padilla, has been fired and arrested for allegedly fleeing and eluding law enforcement during a traffic stop in Lake County. Dash camera footage shows Morales-Padilla speeding away from a Lake County deputy before being identified through his license plate. Deputies located him at his home, where he initially refused to answer the door and later changed clothes. Morales-Padilla admitted to working for the Orange County Sheriff's Office but refused to provide further details. He is now facing charges of fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest without violence.
