Crackdown on Cinco de Mayo DUIs with 'Operation Fiesta'

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Memphis, Tennessee, has launched "Operation Fiesta" to increase impaired-driving enforcement on Cinco de Mayo. They will partner with other agencies to conduct DUI enforcement and locate and stop people under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The consequences of a single DUI may include fines, jail time, mandatory drug and alcohol treatment, or the installation of an ignition interlock on their vehicle.
