Atlanta Police Release Bodycam Footage of Tasing Death of Deacon, Sparking Outrage and Grief

Atlanta police have released body camera footage of a traffic stop in August that resulted in the death of a 62-year-old church deacon, Johnny Hollman Sr. The footage shows Hollman being shocked multiple times with a Taser by Officer Kiran Kimbrough, despite repeatedly saying he couldn't breathe. Hollman became unresponsive and later died. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, with heart disease as a contributing factor. Hollman's family is calling for Kimbrough to be charged with murder. Kimbrough's attorney claims he acted lawfully, but he was fired for failing to follow department policy. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has completed its investigation, and the findings have been handed over to the district attorney for a decision on potential charges.
