The Service Employees International Local 99 Union (SEIU) has announced a series of picket lines, news conferences, and rallies this week in support of their demands for better pay and working conditions for cafeteria workers, bus drivers, custodians, special education assistants, and other workers in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
