Texas' Request to Halt Border Razor Wire Cut Denied by Judge

A federal judge has denied Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's request to stop Border Patrol agents from cutting concertina wire along the Rio Grande to prevent migrants from crossing the border illegally. While ruling in favor of the Biden administration, the judge criticized the behavior of Border Patrol agents and the federal government's immigration policy. The judge suggested that allowing migrants to access the country at a port of entry would be safer and questioned why the government doesn't facilitate this process. Paxton's office has appealed the ruling.
