Federal Judge Denies Texas Request to Halt Biden Administration's Destruction of Border Barriers

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has appealed a federal judge's decision allowing President Joe Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to continue destroying Texas's border barriers. Texas had requested a preliminary injunction to prevent the federal government from interfering with the state's concertina wire fence. Despite the denial of the motion, the court found no merit in the Biden Administration's arguments that the wire fence hinders Border Patrol's duties or addresses medical emergencies. The appeal will be heard by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
