Father's Tragic Death Doesn't Stop Son's Graduation Milestone

Branden Colvin Jr. graduated from high school on the same day his father's body was recovered from the partially collapsed apartment building in Davenport, Iowa. The elder Colvin had been missing since the collapse on May 28. The younger Colvin had slept near the building site and refused to leave, even as officials warned the rest of the building could come crashing down at any time. Colvin Jr. said he walked across the stage knowing his dad was proud of him and will forever be proud of him.
