Escaping Gaza: American Family's Journey to Safety

Lena Beseiso, an American citizen visiting family in Gaza, found herself and her family caught in the midst of a war and fighting for survival. They endured nights of bombings and uncertainty, desperately trying to find a way to escape. After failed attempts to cross the border, they finally received approval and made it out of Gaza, leaving behind loved ones and a devastated homeland. Lena's daughter, Julia, fought to raise awareness and seek help for her family, while Lena grappled with the fear and trauma of the war. They eventually reunited in Salt Lake City, grateful to be safe but haunted by the memories of those left behind.
