An 8-year-old boy who was lost for two days in a Michigan state park survived by eating snow and thinking positive thoughts. Nante Niemi was camping with family members when he got separated from them while they were gathering firewood. A search involving almost 300 people was launched, and Nante was eventually found and reunited with his family. Despite the ordeal, Nante says he will still go camping but will be better prepared next time.
