104-Year-Old Dorothy Hoffner Sets Skydiving World Record

Dorothy Hoffner, a 104-year-old woman from Chicago, became the oldest person to skydive, pending Guinness World Records verification. Hoffner, who first went skydiving at the age of 100, willingly led the tandem 13,500-foot jump and described the experience as "delightful" and "wonderful." Skydive Chicago is working with Guinness World Records to certify her jump as a record. Hoffner, who turns 105 in December, plans to take a hot air balloon ride next.
