Brave Arkansas Officer Rescues Child from Icy Pond

Officer Troy Ellison of the Jonesboro Police Department in Arkansas heroically rescued a young child who had fallen through an icy pond, as captured in newly released footage. Ellison, along with other officers and the fire department, quickly pulled the child to safety and he was taken to the hospital for possible cold weather injuries. The police department praised the brave officials and warned residents to stay away from frozen bodies of water. This incident comes after another heroic rescue in Vermont, where State Trooper Michelle Archer jumped into a freezing pond to save an eight-year-old girl who had fallen through the ice.
