Ruben Flowers, a pilot for Southwest Airlines, stumbled upon a photo from 1994 showing him as a toddler sitting next to his pilot father in an airplane cockpit. Inspired by his father, Ruben Flowers Jr. followed in his footsteps and became a First Officer for Southwest Airlines. As his father neared retirement, they fulfilled their dream of flying together and recreated the photo. The Flowers family has a strong aviation legacy, with seven family members working as pilots for Southwest Airlines.
