"Mass Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Strikes Multiple LDS Congregations"

Over 50 members of a Mormon congregation in Monroe, Utah, experienced carbon monoxide poisoning during a church service, suspected to be caused by a heating system malfunction. At least 22 individuals were hospitalized, with symptoms ranging from breathing problems to headaches. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse will remain closed until the issue is resolved, and church officials are committed to supporting the medical expenses of those affected.
