7th grader saves school bus after driver passes out

A seventh-grader from Warren Consolidated Schools prevented a bus crash after the driver passed out while transporting students home from Carter Middle School. The student saw the driver in distress, stepped to the front of the bus, and helped bring it to a stop without incident. The Warren police and fire departments responded and tended to the driver, and the students were loaded onto another bus to head home. The student's heroic actions were praised by the school district and the city councilman.
