Providence Faces Dual Emergencies: Fire and Gun Violence

A three-alarm fire broke out in a three-family apartment building in the Smith Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. All eight residents were able to safely evacuate the building, and around 50 firefighters responded to the scene. The fire, which started on the first floor and spread to the attic, caused the building to be a total loss. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and no injuries were reported.
