Fatal Fire in Orange Leaves One Dead and Another Injured

One person has died and another is seriously injured after a three-alarm fire in Orange, Massachusetts. Firefighters responded to a home on West River Street and found heavy fire in the rear of the house. Two occupants, both older adults, were trapped inside. One person was rescued but later succumbed to their injuries, while the other remains hospitalized. Several dogs were rescued, but others perished in the fire. The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious, and the home is considered a total loss.
