Coney Island Water Park to Permanently Close at Year's End

Coney Island, a beloved attraction in Greater Cincinnati, will permanently close at the end of the year to make way for a new $118 million music venue and entertainment campus. The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra plans to transform the site into a state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge technology, adaptable seating arrangements, and modern amenities. The venue aims to attract top-tier artists and serve as an economic driver for the region, complementing the adjacent Riverbend Music Center and PNC Pavilion. Coney Island, which has been around for 137 years, will be replaced to offer new and unique entertainment experiences.
