"Air Force Officer from Colorado Wins Miss America 2024"

Second Lieutenant Madison Marsh, 22, from Colorado, was crowned Miss America 2024, becoming the first active duty servicemember to win the title. The pageant, held in Orlando, saw an outpouring of congratulations on social media, including from Gov. Jared Polis and the U.S. Air Force. Marsh, a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, is the fourth Miss Colorado to become Miss America and was on the Dean's List eight times at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
