NC A&T to Announce New Chancellor

James R. Martin II, currently the vice chancellor for STEM research and innovation at the University of Pittsburgh, is expected to be named the next chancellor of North Carolina A&T. Despite some concerns about his lack of direct HBCU experience, Martin's extensive background in engineering and leadership is seen as a strong asset. He will succeed Harold Martin, who has led the university for 15 years, transforming it into the nation's largest HBCU. The official announcement and election will take place in a series of meetings and a special event, all of which will be live-streamed.
