Multiple Students Tased and Arrested in Chaotic High School Brawls

A fight at Chalmette High School in Louisiana resulted in the arrest of eight students and the deployment of a Taser by a School Resource Officer on two students. Videos of the fights, both inside and outside the building, were widely shared on social media. Two teachers received minor injuries, and some students and parents expressed concerns about safety and considered removing their children from the campus permanently. The school superintendent stated that fights are not common and involve only a small group of students, while defending the taser deployment as in line with safety protocols.
