"JCPS Implements Quick Fixes to Resolve Busing Problems"

Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) has seen improvements in their busing issues after implementing short-term fixes. Elementary and middle schools returned to session with better communication and quicker transportation times. JCPS contracted additional buses and drivers, added staff to the hotline, deployed vans for students on wrong buses, and introduced an app to track bus locations. JCPS officials are pleased with the progress and plan to implement more long-term solutions after fall break.
