"Google Doodle Contest Highlights Talented Young Artists Nationwide"

Yanuo Li, a middle school student from Laguna Niguel, has been selected to represent California in the annual Doodle for Google contest. Competing in the 6-7th grade category, Li's artwork reflects a personal wish for family togetherness over the next 25 years. The contest, which invites students from across the U.S. to redesign the Google logo, will award the national winner with a $55,000 college scholarship and other prizes. Voting for the five finalists is currently underway.
