Baltimore County Public Schools have narrowed down their search for a new superintendent to four finalists, including an in-house candidate, a former Mississippi state school superintendent candidate, a superintendent from Missouri, and the Kentucky Education Commissioner. The finalists were selected based on input from community meetings and school district surveys, and the Board of Education will have the final say. The board will identify a preferred candidate, conduct a final reference check, and negotiate a contract by July 1, with an announcement expected sometime this month.
