Anne Arundel County's Flag Ban Proposal Sparks Debate and Controversy

The Anne Arundel County Board of Education voted on amendments to the proposed flag ban in schools. The final decision on the vote won't happen until July 12 at the earliest. If the ban were to pass, flags for a bona fide educational purpose would be permitted, and what would qualify under that bona fide educational purpose would be up to the principal. Carroll County schools chose to enact a similar ban last year.
