Connecticut Couple Faces Charges for Harassing Puerto Rican Landscapers

A Connecticut couple, Robert Shaw and Sharon Bourgeois-Williams, were charged with disorderly conduct after verbally attacking two Puerto Rican landscapers and accusing them of being in the US illegally. The confrontation began when the couple approached the brothers to complain about noise, but quickly escalated into racist remarks and harassment. The couple was arrested for preventing one employee from moving freely in the roadway. Relatives of the landscapers stated that the men were simply doing their job and had not stepped foot on the couple's property.
