More than 140 people were evacuated from a 15-story condominium in Minnesota due to concerns about its stability, less than a week after an apartment building partially collapsed in Iowa. The Rochester Towers Condominium residents were advised to find temporary housing elsewhere while short-term shoring work is done to the building structure. Meanwhile, workers in Davenport were removing pieces of the collapsed apartment building to control falling hazards and support recovery efforts. Three men remain missing, and officials said there was a “high probability” they were at home when the building partially collapsed.
