YouTuber Admits to Intentionally Crashing Plane for Online Views and Sponsorship Deal.

YouTuber Trevor Daniel Jacob has pleaded guilty to federal charges of destruction and concealment with the intent to obstruct a federal investigation after intentionally crashing his airplane and lying to investigators about the cause of the crash. Jacob faces up to 20 years in prison for his actions. He had outfitted the plane with cameras and ejected from the aircraft above the Los Padres National Forest, capturing the entire crash on video. Jacob then cut up the wreckage of the plane and put the parts in different trash bins around the airport to obstruct the investigation.
