Young Victim in Critical Condition After Shooting in North St. Louis County

A child was shot and critically injured in north St. Louis County on Saturday afternoon. Police responded to a Shot Spotter alert and found the child outside with a gunshot wound. The child was rushed to a hospital for treatment and no one else was hurt. The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating the incident and no suspect information has been released yet.
