Woman's Daring Escape from Makeshift Cell Leads to Man's Arrest in Klamath Falls

A man in Klamath Falls, Oregon, has been arrested after a woman escaped from a makeshift cinder block cell in his garage. The man, identified as Negasi Zuberi, had posed as an undercover police officer and kidnapped the victim in Seattle, sexually assaulting her during the 450-mile trip back to his home. The victim managed to break free when Zuberi was away and flagged down a passing driver for help. Zuberi fled but was later apprehended in Reno. The FBI believes there may be more victims and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Zuberi could face life in prison if convicted.
