"Woman Allegedly Poisons Husband's Soup at Behest of Fake Soap Opera Star Scammer"

A Massachusetts woman is suspected of attempting to poison her husband with tainted soup after being instructed to do so by a person posing as a soap opera star online. The woman, Roxanne Doucette, allegedly messaged the fake profile, expressing her intention to make a special potion soup for her husband and collect life insurance. Although her husband fell ill after consuming the soup, a toxicology test came back negative. Doucette has been arrested for intimidating a police officer, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer, but has not been charged in connection with the poisoning allegation. She denies the accusations and has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation and follow-up treatment.
