Wilbraham Police Officer Shot by Barricaded Suspect Identified

A suspect, identified as 53-year-old Michael Ortega, allegedly shot a Wilbraham police officer during a standoff at a home on Old Carriage Drive. The officer is expected to recover, and the suspect was found with gunshot injuries and taken to the hospital under police guard.
