The FBI and Beavercreek police have stated that the shootings at a Walmart in Beavercreek, Ohio, on Monday may have been partially motivated by racially motivated violent extremist ideology. The attacker, Benjamin Charles Jones, had purchased a firearm just days before the incident. The victims include two Black females, a white female, and a white male. Jones was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators are looking into Jones' background and whether he provided inaccurate information on the ATF Form 4473 regarding his mental health history. The FBI is asking for the public's help in the investigation. The Walmart store is set to reopen on Friday.
