Virginia Prison Escapee Captured on College Campus

Bruce Callahan, an inmate who escaped from Piedmont Regional Jail in Virginia, was captured on Longwood University's campus after a college student pulled a fire alarm. Callahan had been living in the woods and surviving off of river water. He was taken to the hospital for dehydration and is now in custody being questioned. Callahan was convicted of multiple federal drug charges. His bunkmate, Alder Marin-Sotelo, was captured by Mexican authorities on May 4. The FBI has charged Marin-Sotelo's sister with assisting in his escape.
