Virginia Police Officer Narrowly Escapes Fatal Crash During Traffic Stop

A teenager driving a BMW M3 at over 120 mph lost control of their car and crashed into a car that was pulled over by a Fairfax County police officer. The officer narrowly avoided being pinned between the two vehicles and both he and the driver of the stopped car suffered only minor injuries. The crash was captured on the officer's dash cam and will be used to train new police officers on how to stay safe during traffic stops. The high-school-aged driver who caused the crash has been charged with reckless driving.
