Violent Machete Attack at South Side Convenience Store Leaves Man Injured

A 35-year-old man was attacked and robbed with a machete at a convenience store on the South Side of San Antonio. The victim was approached by an unknown man who demanded his belongings, and when he refused, he was struck in the head with the machete. The suspect fled on foot and has not been found. The victim was taken to the hospital with a head injury but is expected to recover. The investigation is ongoing.
