Violent incidents rock Meriden neighborhood

Residents in a Meriden neighborhood were asked to shelter-in-place while police conducted an investigation at a specific property on Melville Avenue. The mayor stated that there was no immediate threat to the public, and the incident is believed to be isolated and unrelated to a deadly stabbing that occurred earlier in the evening.
