Violent Encounter in St. Paul Leaves Officer and Suspect Injured

A suspect and a police officer were injured in a shooting in St. Paul, Minnesota. The incident occurred when a woman called the police after a man, who she had an order of protection against, began following her in his car and damaged her vehicle. The man was armed with a handgun and started shooting at the police when they confronted him. The police returned fire, critically injuring the suspect. One officer was also hit by gunfire but has been released from the hospital.
