Vandalized Mission Peak Pole Recovered

The top section of a popular pole at Mission Peak in the East Bay, which was sawed off and taken in an act of vandalism, has been recovered by park staff. The pole, known for being a spot for taking pictures, was cut off, but the sawed-off portion has now been found. The East Bay Regional Parks District expressed sadness over the incident, stating that any vandalism affects the positive experience of community members enjoying the park.
