US Couple Found Dead in Mexican Resort Due to Toxic Gas Inhalation

Two American tourists, Abby Lutz and John Heathco, were found dead in a luxury hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The possibility of a gas leak was ruled out by paramedics, who believe the couple died of "intoxication of a substance that has not been determined." Workers at the hotel claimed that managers ignored a possible gas leak for months and disabled carbon monoxide detectors. Lutz and Heathco had been dead for about 10 to 11 hours before their bodies were discovered, and neither had any signs of violence.
