UNLV Shooting: Uncovering the Truth Amidst Tragedy

Anthony Polito, the gunman in the UNLV mass shooting, posted links on his personal website revealing his views and possible motives before the shooting. He had a target list of UNLV and East Carolina University faculty, but none of those listed were victims. Polito sent 22 letters to various university personnel across the country, and the contents of these letters are currently being processed. The letters, filled with grudges and vulgarities, referred to himself as "Dr. 160IQ." Police intercepted the letters, which contained a harmless white powder substance. Polito's online profiles have been deleted, and the investigation is ongoing.
