Unhappy customer turns deadly at Largo auto shop, suspect identified

A disgruntled customer, identified as Eugene Frank Becker, opened fire at Stout's Automotive in Largo, targeting the shop owner, Jodie Stout. Stout returned fire, fatally shooting Becker, but later succumbed to his own injuries. Becker had visited the shop in 2021 and was unhappy with the service, believing he had been overcharged. Police believe Becker intended to retaliate for the perceived wrong.
