Undocumented Suspect Arrested in Murder of Texas Cheerleader

Texas police have arrested Rafael Govea Romero, an undocumented male, in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Lizbeth Medina. Medina was found dead in her apartment on December 5th. The arrest came after the Edna Police Department shared security camera footage of a person of interest in the case. Medina's mother, Jacqueline Medina, expressed shock and grief over her daughter's death and described Lizbeth as a caring and mature individual. The community is rallying behind the family, and a GoFundMe campaign titled "Justice for Lizbeth Medina" has been created.
