Tragic: Uber Driver and Father of 2 Shot by Passengers at 7-Eleven

An Uber driver and father of two young children was shot and killed by passengers in a Lynwood 7-Eleven parking lot early Friday. The victim was found dead outside the store, and there appeared to have been a struggle between the driver and two passengers before the shooting. The attackers left in the Uber driver's car, which was found in a nearby neighborhood. No arrests were reported. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Aaron Orozco, a Marine who graduated from Lynwood High School in 2002. Uber said it is assisting police with the investigation.
