Tragic Shootout Claims Life of 18-Year-Old in McCalla Home

An 18-year-old named Charlie Angelo Jordan was shot and killed during a shootout inside a home in McCalla, Alabama. The incident occurred when the victim, who was hiding inside the house, was discovered by one of the homeowners. As he attempted to leave, he was confronted by another resident, resulting in an exchange of gunfire that left both individuals injured. Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male resident was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
