Tragic Shooting Claims Lives of Father and Son in Iowa

A father and son in Woodbury County, Iowa, are dead following a police standoff and exchange of gunfire. The incident began when the father called the sheriff's office, reporting that his son was shooting at him. Law enforcement arrived at the scene, but the son refused a peaceful resolution and made threats towards officers. After firing shots at the tactical team, the son was struck by return fire and died at the scene. The father was also pronounced dead, and the cause of his death has not been released.
