Tragic Shooting Claims Life of St. Jude Employee in Downtown Memphis

A St. Jude Research Hospital employee was shot and killed in downtown Memphis on Sunday night. The shooting occurred on Tennessee Street, a typically quiet area, and the victim was walking with his family when he was approached by a masked man who demanded money. The victim tried to fight off the assailant but was shot. The suspect fled in a white Toyota Camry. Two individuals, Marious Ward and Brandy Rucker, have been arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree murder.
