Tragic Hit-and-Run Claims Lives of Nevada State Troopers on Las Vegas Freeway

Two Nevada State Police Troopers were killed in a hit-and-run incident while checking on a motorist on a Las Vegas freeway. The troopers had stopped to assist a driver who appeared to be sleeping in their vehicle when a white Chevrolet station wagon collided with them. One trooper died at the scene, while the other succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The suspect, identified as Jemarcus Williams, fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with multiple offenses. The incident is under investigation.
