Tragic Discovery: Missing Ohio State Student Found Dead

Amina Alhaj-Omar, a 25-year-old Master's degree student at Ohio State University who went missing in June, was found dead in a quarry behind a gas station where she was last seen. Her body was discovered on July 12, and the investigation into her disappearance has been closed by the Columbus Division of Police. The police had intensified their search for Alhaj-Omar after receiving reports of sightings, but ultimately suspended the search on June 29. The circumstances surrounding her death are still unknown.
